Project description
The project consisted of the design and installation of a hybrid PV Grid-Tie system with backup battery. This system is a 10.8kW-DC system, capable of producing clean energy from photovoltaic panels. The energy produced will be consumed, stored and exported instantly to the public network. This option provided the customer with an instant reduction in the utility bill. The solar panels were mounted on three floor mounting assemblies (9 modules each) and one set on the new lookout point to be built
Project Details
MFS provided equipment, labor, engineering, commissioning and training. The MFS engineering team was on the client side from the beginning of the project to the final commissioning and maintenance of the system. The support structure of the solar panels was designed to withstand extreme wind pressures in accordance with the minimum design load requirements of ASCE 7.
