MFS provided sustainable design for a roof mounted 20.16 KW (DC) solar photovoltaic system for Rocafort Group located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The system consisted of 72 Enphase M250 micro inverters grid tied to the utility company. In addition, there are 72 SolarWorld SW 280 Mono Plus panels installed on the rooftop of the existing structure. This system is providing solar energy as an alternative form of energy and thermal insulation for the structure which in turn will save the owner on electricity bills.

The savings in energy costs will pay for the cost of the design and installation of the solar system in approximate five and a half years (if 35% Green Energy Fund (GEF) are acquired). The photovoltaic system will cover 38% of the average energy consumption.
