MFS provided professional engineering services to a medical facility in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The proposed project included the installation of a 24.30kW roof mounted solar photovoltaic system. MFS was retained by the medical facility owner to provide electrical and structural engineering; and construction management services in support of MFS’ turn-key project.
MFS’ engineering services included an electrical and structural assessment of the building. An electrical investigation was performed to determine the interconnection location to avoid major upgrades to the existing power supply.
This project received funding for Puerto Rico’s Green Energy Fund (GEF). MFS successfully procured all permits and applications necessary to submit this project for GEF Tier 1 reimbursement consideration. Reimbursements under GEF Tier 1 provided the client 40% reimbursement for acquisition and installation of solar projects.
