MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided the Oficina Estatal de Conservación Histórica with a structural analysis and structural investigation of the damaged rooftop, walls and beams of the Cuartel de Ballajá.
Project Details
The Cuartel de Ballajá is a three-story masonry building with an approximate footprint of 75,000 square feet constructed in 1864 in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The proposed sustainable green roof construction consists of placing observation and sitting areas, walkways, and solar panels, and all surrounded with sedum green roof cover on the rooftop of the Ballajá.
